Tipperary homes blighted

Stephen Linley-Shaw 23/10/2017 0 Comments
The Asthma Society of Ireland has just issued a report compiled on into the harmful effects of damp.
They estimate that 15377 asthmatics in Tipperary are suffering from breathing problems related to high humidity and sight drying clothes indoors are a major factor.
Averil Power, CEO of the Asthma Society of Ireland explains that microscopic spores develop in damp homes and this irritates the lining of the lungs.
If you want to read more of this article in the Nenagh Guardian there are some excellent tips on self help. My No. 1 tip is "if you must dry clothes indoors close the door of teh room and open a window to allow the damp air to escape."
